Tom Santori
PhD Student
Tom graduated in chemistry from the National Graduate School of Chemistry of Montpellier in 2024.
His fourth academic year focused on material chemistry, during which he worked on the hydrometallurgical separation of NMC-based cathode material in the context of battery recycling. In his final year of the Master's program, he spent six months at the Freie Universität Berlin in Germany participating in an exchange program.
In 2024, he joined the group for an internship focused on the synthesis and characterization of advanced photosensitizers, aimed at exploiting Singlet Fission (SF) in molecular photocatalysis, working with Dr. Matthieu Koepf.
Following his internship, he continued his work in the group as a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Bertrand Reuillard, investigating molecular surface engineering to optimize the selectivity of electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reactions.
