Helena is originally from Germany and completed her Master’s degree at the University of Uppsala in Sweden. During her thesis, she investigated the electron transfer in bilirubin oxidase, an O2-reducing protein.

Helena joinde the Solhycat team in October 2023 for a four-month Erasmus internship. She is working on the immobilization of a DuBois catalyst for hydrogen evolution and oxidation under the supervision of Bertrand Reuillard.
