Costanza Bebber
PhD Student
Costanza Bebber earned both her Bachelor’s degree (BSc, October 2023) and Master’s degree (MSc, October 2025) in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Milan.
During her Bachelor’s thesis, she investigated electroreductive dehalogenation for wastewater treatment under the supervision of Professor Alessandro Minguzzi. She continued her research under his guidance for her Master’s thesis, focusing on Cu-based molecular catalysts for CO₂ electroreduction to e-fuels. Through this work, she developed strong expertise in electrochemical techniques and advanced materials characterization.
She was also awarded an Erasmus traineeship scholarship at the University of Alicante (March 2025-May 2025), where she worked under the supervision of Professor José Solla-Gullón.
From July 2025 to October 2025, she also received a fellowship to contribute to a project on the electrification of an industrial pharmaceutical process.
Costanza joined the SolHyCat group in February 2026 to develop molecular catalyst-containing electrolyser cell to produce C2+ product in the context of the PEPR SPLEEN Power CO2 prpogram.
