Beatriz SILVA GASPAR is originally from Lisbon Portugal, where she completed her Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at Universidade de Lisboa - Instituto Superior Técnico.

During her PhD, she then worked with Avelino Corma, at Instituto de Tecnologia Quimica in Valencia, and Antoine Fécant, at IFP Energies Nouvelles in Lyon, on the development and characterization of 2D chalcogenide-based materials for photocatalytic applications.

 

In February 2024, she joined the SolHyCat teamp in Grenoble to work on the development of a photoelectrochemical unit for hydrogen production.
