Anthonin was born in November, 1995. He graduated from the National Graduate School of Chemistry of Montpellier (ENSCM) and the University of Montpellier in 2019. During his academic cursus, Anthonin worked on a porphyrin-based photoanode for oxygen evolution reaction within Pr. Chen-Hsiung Hung’s group at Academia Sinica (Taipei). Then, he performed his Master’s thesis within Dr. Renaud Demadrille’s team working on the synthesis of organic dyes for photo-electrocatalytic hydrogen production applications. His PhD thesis is the continuation of that internship. He will continue on the synthesis of new organic dyes but also start to develop and caracterize functional photocathodes for hydrogen production from water and sunlight.
