Marine Bacchi was born in 1987. She is a graduate of the Ecole Centrale of Marseille and of the University of Aix-Marseille. She joined the group in 2010, starting her PhD under the direction of  Dr. Vincent Artero. Her doctoral work deal with the development of cobalt-based artificila hydrogenases for hydrogen electro- and photo-production.
